"Kakuuchi or Kadouchi" is a Japanese style where you can drink alcohol right inside a liquor shop.
You can buy your drink here and enjoy it on the spot – often standing, just like the locals do.
It's a casual, friendly way to enjoy a quick drink and experience everyday Japanese drinking culture.

　関西から江戸へ酒を運ぶ「下り酒屋」小西の屋号は、江戸時代に始まり、やがてその暖簾は全国各地へと広がっていきました。
　北沢小西は、初代が1916年に青山小西に入店したことをきっかけに、1931年に暖簾分けとして現在の地・下北沢で小西酒店を創業。 1981年にはコンビニエンスストア「小西酒店」として、2012年にはワインショップ「Le petit L'ouest 北沢小西」としてリニューアルしました。
　さらに2013年頃からクラフトビールの販売を開始し、現在ではクラフトビールとハードサイダーの専門店となっています。

History of Kitazawa Konishi
The name Konishi comes from a sake wholesaler in the Edo period, who transported sake from the Kansai region to Edo (Tokyo).
Over time, the Konishi brand spread to various parts of Japan. Kitazawa Konishi traces its roots back to 1916, when the founder joined Aoyama Konishi.
In 1931, he opened Konishi Sake Shop here in Shimokitazawa as a branch of the original store. In 1981, the shop was renewed as Konishi Sake Shop Convenience Store, and in 2012 it became the wine shop Le petit L’ouest Kitazawa Konishi. Around 2013, we began selling craft beer, and today we are a specialty store offering a wide selection of craft beer and hard cider.
